Hull’s more than 100 community recycling sites and East Riding’s 145 bring sites enable recycling to be brought within easier reach of residents.
The number of materials which can be recycled is increasing and now includes tetra paks, used for milk and juices. Hull is also trialling the collection of cardboard at 10 sites.
The materials that can be recycled at the sites include paper, glass, textiles, cans, aerosols, foil and plastic bottles.
