Using your new blue bin

Your new blue bin will be emptied on the same day of the week as your black bin, but every two weeks (not weekly like your black bin). Look at your magnet or sticker for your collection days.

The new blue bin replaces the old blue bin (for paper recycling) and black box schemes (for bottles, foil, tins and bagged textiles).

If you need help moving your bin, we can give you an assisted collection.  Please call 01482 300 300..

Remember, don’t put textiles in the bin. Please put them in a bag then seal it and put it next to the bin.

If you need a smaller, larger or replacement bin please email wastemanagement@hullcc.gov.uk  or call 01482 300 300.
