Hull City Council collects over 12,000 tonnes of commercial waste from around 2,000 customers.
The council offers a flexible collection service and provides the following range of wheeled bin sizes:
140 litre
240 litre
360 litre
770 litre
1100 litre

The council also collects large items such as furniture and fridges from non-domestic properties at competitive rates. We also offer clinical waste collections to meet the needs of businesses.
All of the council’s customers are also offered a free paper recycling collection. Currently around 1200 non-domestic customers across the city take the opportunity to use this service.
The service operates on a monthly basis and the following items can be recycled through the scheme:
Newspapers, magazines, brochures, pamphlets, catalogues, junk mail, office paper, yellow and white telephone directories.
Unfortunately we cannot accept cardboard or envelopes.
